Hello, My name is Stephen "Steve" Mullins, Founder and Managing Member of SMG Claims Public Adjusters. I began my insurance claims career in 1990 while attending law school and working as a law clerk for a San Diego based law firm specializing in insurance defense. During that time, I was involved in handling all types of insurance matters, including but not limited to being a part of the firm’s construction defect litigation team and legal writing team.
In 1993 I earned my Law Degree (J.D., Juris Doctor) from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, in San Diego, California. After graduation, I became a licensed California Public Adjuster, as well as a licensed Public Adjuster in several other States. I also became a licensed California Real Estate Agent and a Licensed California Property and Casualty Insurance Broker.
